The accident happened around Indian School Road, where a portion has been closed for investigation of the incident. One victim sustained serious injuries, while the other had less serious injuries. Police are not yet sure if speeding or alcohol could have been involved in the crash.
When driving in Arizona, never drink alcohol and take drugs. As the Blood Alcohol Level (BAC) of a person increases, the risk of being involved in a crash also increases. Therefore, if people want to drink, especially in a party, remember to assign a non-drinking driver after the party. If a sober driver cannot be found, then opt to go home in a taxi or get another ride instead.
Also, while driving in Arizona, always follow the speed limits of the road. Speed limits are implemented for a good reason, and should therefore not be ignored.
