Tucson Traffic Accident Involves Multiple Vehicles

Most Tucson traffic accidents involve just one or two vehicles at a time, however, a crash that was reported by Tucson News Now on September 5 involved between eight and 10 vehicles. The crash happened shortly before 10 a.m. at a stoplight at Magee and La Canada. A line of cars were stopped at the light when one driver failed to stop for the backed up traffic and slammed into the back car causing a pileup.

Reports from police did not indicate whether there were injuries in the crash but at least eight vehicles and as many as 10 vehicles were involved in the collision. We hope that everyone who was involved in the crash is doing well and that they were all released from treatment without major injuries.

Phoenix Motorcycle Collision: Driver on Wrong Side of Road Proves Deadly

Recently, a large number of Phoenix motorcycle collisions have been happening throughout the valley, and we were shocked to hear the news from ABC 15 of another in a long string of fatal crashes that took place on Sunday, August 26, 2012. The accident happened late Sunday afternoon on Loop 101 near the Cave Creek Road exit when a wrong way driver crashed into a motorcycle headed westbound. According to reports from police, the wrong way driver was driving eastbound in the westbound for nearly a full minute prior to the accident. There was no word from police on whether the wrong way driver was intoxicated at the time the collision occurred or if the rider on the motorcycle was wearing a helmet. We are deeply saddened by this tragic death and our hearts are with the family of the man that died.

How to Avoid a Phoenix Motorcycle Collision

With more than 31,050 car crashes reported in the city every year by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), avoiding a Phoenix motorcycle collision like this one is a task that requires undivided attention, driving skill, and patience on the road. It’s no secret that our lives are go-go-go, and in order to maintain that lifestyle drivers have learned to talk, text, eat, search the web, put on makeup, and even shave while driving down the interstate. And if you consider yourself a skilled driver, you might even be able to do all that while weaving in and out of traffic. But if you want to avoid causing an accident, it’s time to get real, get rid of your distractions, and focus on driving basics like “10 and 2” and the “2 second rule”.

Avoiding Chino Valley Motorcycle Accidents during Rallies

Avoiding Chino Valley motorcycle accidents throughout the summer, when rallies are high, should be on the minds of riders and other motorists alike. Reports from the Prescott Daily Courier on August 18 indicated the presence of more than 100 motorcycle riders on Highway 89 and Road 3 North during a motorcycle rally and run that afternoon.

Local police reported that the day and the event took place without major incidents or injuries. Drivers and riders can keep up the trend and make all motorcycle rallies and runs successful and injury free by respecting each other’s space on the road, watching out for one another and following both the legal rules and the common sense rules of driving that can help reduce all types of accidents.

Tucson Rollover Crash Claims One Life

As Tucson rollover crash attorneys, we were saddened to learn of the death of one 41-year-old woman on January 19, 2012, according to the Arizona Daily Star. She was driving an SUV that collided with two other vehicles on West Picture Rocks Road and North Wade Road. Our deepest thoughts and condolences are with the woman’s family, and we wish the injured victim a quick recovery.

Causes of This Tucson Rollover Crash

This Tucson rollover crash occurred when the woman driving the SUV drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with two other cars. Her SUV then rolled over. Police continue to investigate to determine what caused her to drift into the two other cars. In some cases, we know that drivers get cut off by other drivers, and many times when there is a rollover crash, it is because a driver tried to avoid another vehicle. These are things that an experienced personal injury lawyer can investigate by talking to witnesses and having discussions with an accident reconstructionist.

Tucson Rollover Crash Statistics

There were 9,720 accidents in the city in 2010, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), but it is unclear how many of those were Tucson rollover crashes. Inattention and distraction accounted for 12,026 crashes in the state in 2010, while failure to stay in the proper lane caused 3,067 crashes.

How a Tucson Rollover Crash Lawyer Can Help

As Tucson rollover crash lawyers, we know that rollover accidents can appear to be the fault of one driver when in fact the accident was the cause of another driver. The Husband and Wife Law Team works hard to gather all the evidence surrounding a collision in order to hold the at-fault driver responsible for the victims’ accident-related costs. The settlements we obtain for our clients can be used to pay hospital bills, lost wages, damages, and more. Many times when fatal injuries are involved, the settlement can be put aside for the children and spouse so that the family does not have to worry about the lost support of the fatally injured family member.
